Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :

Islamabad → Skardu → Khaplu

Your journey begins with a scenic flight from Islamabad to Skardu, offering spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas and Karakoram ranges. Upon arrival, drive along the beautiful Indus and Shyok Rivers to reach Khaplu, a historic town known for its culture and heritage.
Optional visit to Khaplu Fort for a cultural experience. Overnight stay in Khaplu.

Day 2 :

Khaplu → Kanday → Mingulu Broq

After breakfast, drive by jeep to Kanday village, the starting point of the trek. Begin your hike through scenic farmland, streams, and pastures leading to Mingulu Broq, a wide green meadow surrounded by mountains.
Enjoy camping under the stars.

Drive: 1.5–2 hours
Trek: 3–4 hours (gentle uphill)

Day 3 :

Mingulu Broq → Nangma Valley (Amin Brakk Base Camp)

Continue trekking deeper into the valley along glacial streams and rocky moraines. Reach the stunning Nangma Valley base camp, surrounded by towering granite peaks.
Camp near the famous Amin Brakk (Great Tower), a paradise for climbers and photographers.

Day 4 :

Exploration Day at Base Camp

Spend a full day at base camp for acclimatization and exploration.
You can take short hikes to nearby viewpoints, walk closer to granite spires like Amin Brakk and Grey Tower, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain environment.

2–4 hours (easy optional hikes)

Day 5 :

Return to Skardu

Start your descent back to Mingulu Broq and continue towards Kanday village. From there, take a jeep ride back to Skardu.
End your trek with unforgettable memories of Nangma Valley’s dramatic landscapes.
